While at Boston University, I was apart of The Daily Free Press writing for the features section, along with blogging. I covered local news and lifestyle in Boston University and within the greater Boston area. I also wrote feature articles for the Miami Herald newspaper, reporting from the Continuous News Desk, Neighbors, and Business sections. I wrote articles, conducted interviews, reported on breaking news in Miami, FL and feature style articles on film festivals, book clubs and sports, creating multimedia posts for each section.
Boston's indie bookstores are still successful
Independent bookstores still thrive despite big chain bookstores and online content. Boston indie bookstores like Brookline Booksmith, the Harvard Bookstore and Brattle Book Shop all have their individual style, but each are still competitive to keep their bookstore alive.
